Gnocchi curlers in sauce
Bent, twisted leafy vegetables in batter .. All cooked, hastily .. and with a quick sauce ..
Preparation steps
- Loaf Made of flour, half a teaspoon of salt, olive oil and with a light addition of warm water, knead the dough, roll it out with a rolling pin and flatten the left and right ends by cutting out the unevenness with a knife. Cut the bright, hard central part with the chard leaves and place them on the dough, which we then twist. Cut the rolled dough into pieces that will fit in the cooking pot. In boiling water (amount = a little more than the height of the curler) with the other half of a teaspoon of salt, cook them for about 20 minutes.
- Sauce In 1/2 cup of salted water left over from cooking the dough, stir in a tablespoon of flour. Fry the chopped onion and ginger in a little olive oil until golden brown. Add chopped chard, water with flour (here, if desired, first grind all the ingredients in a blender or stick mixer or without this step), cumin, sesame and cook to the desired density. Stir in the lemon juice with the loaves before serving.
