Gentle bread ...
Here at your request… stays fresh for a few days… ideal for spreads and sandwiches
Preparation steps
- In a bowl, grind the yeast, add 1.5 dl of lukewarm water and 1 tablespoon of sugar and 1 tablespoon of flour. Stir, cover with a cloth and leave to rise for 10 minutes.
- In a large bowl, mix the flour (smooth and sharp), salt, baking powder, yogurt, oil and add the yeast. Knead and work well. Cover with a cloth and leave for 50 minutes to rise.
- Flour the work surface, shake out the dough and mix gently. Spread a little with your hands or a roller and roll like a roll (form a loaf) and put it in a mold that we have oiled and floured. Cut with a knife if you wish and coat with oil. Cover with a cloth and put to rise for 20 minutes.
- Turn on the oven to preheat to 200 degrees.
- After 20 minutes when the oven has warmed up we put the bread in the oven. After 10 minutes when the crust is caught on the bread, reduce the temperature to 180 degrees and bake for another 20 minutes.
- When we take the bread out of the oven, coat it with water mixed with a little oil, take it out of the mold, cover it with a clean cloth and put it on the rack to cool a bit.
