Fruit cake with poppy seeds
A very nice and tasty cake worth trying
Preparation steps
- Place the softened butter and sugar in a whisk bowl and stir to dissolve the sugar. Add the eggs one at a time, stirring constantly, to obtain a frothy mixture.
- Add the ajran and stir to combine everything into a uniform mixture.
- Combine all dry things, flour, thickener, poppy seeds, vanilla and pastries and put them in beaten eggs and mix everything nicely.
- Pour the finished mixture into an oiled and paper-lined square baking tray and flatten the mixture.
- Arrange the diced nectarines and peeled cherries over the dough. Finally, sprinkle with chopped walnuts and bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 35 minutes or until the cake is baked.
- Cool the finished cake and serve. If you wish, you can also add powdered sugar.
