French Onion Soup

For all onion lovers, here is a recipe for a very popular corbica. Caramelized onions with red wine, croutons and swiss cheese (Swiss cheese) ....

Preparation steps

  • Preheat oven to 400F. According to the measures of this recipe (onion, sugar and wine), caramelize the onion in butter.
  • Add pepper, vegeta, soup and parsley, cover and simmer for another 20 minutes on medium heat, stirring occasionally. The soup will be a little thicker.
  • While the soup is simmering, place a piece of bread on a baking tray, which you will cut into cubes. Place in the oven for about 8 minutes, until the bread is dry and the crust and edges are browned.
  • Pour the soup into a small refractory bowl, cover with croutons, ie cubes of baked bread and sprinkle with grated Trappist (Swiss cheese-swiss cheese). Put in the oven for 5 minutes, enough cheese to melt.
  • Remove from the oven, wait 5 minutes to cool slightly and serve. Pleasant!
