Fougasse
Something like improved bread, originally from Provence… It can be decorated with various ingredients of olives, bacon, sardines, cheese…) The recipe is from the internet;)
Preparation steps
- Crumble the fresh germ and mix with 1/2 dl of lukewarm milk and a spoonful of flour. Leave covered to rise to double the amount.
- Sift the flour into a bowl and add the risen germ, oil and salt. Then add lukewarm water and knead. Leave for 1 hour to rest :)
- Transfer to a floured work surface, mix a little and roll out oblong. Put the bacon and sprinkle with cheese and oregano. Leave to rise for about 30 min.
- Bake for about 20 minutes at 180 ° C. before baking

I made a double measure, so I didn't have to bother to calculate how much is half of 25 gr. how much does one cube of germ weigh;))) ... I baked one and stored the other part of the dough in the fridge for today;)
