Focaccia with cottage cheese and bacon
I’ve tried a variety of focaccio recipes, and now it’s time to post my own as well. Sometimes, in the absence of some foods, these dishes are made for licking fingers. Try it, you won't regret it. ;)
Preparation steps
- In a bowl, mix the yeast with the sugar and a little lukewarm water and leave in a warm place to rise. mix yeast with
- Mix flour, salt, oil, a tablespoon of rosemary and lift the yeast, then add lukewarm water and knead a soft dough. Leave the dough to rise in the heat for about 1 hour. (after half an hour stir)
- Cut the bacon and onion into cubes and add the cheese. Stir the egg into the cheese.
- when the dough has risen, divide it into two parts. Stretch the first part in a pan from edge to edge. Then take it out and put it aside, and stretch the other part in the pan.
- Spread the cheese mixture on the stretched dough in the pan and use a spoon to spread it evenly over the dough. Leave approximately 1cm to the edge blank.
- Put that piece of dough we left aside over the cheese. Cover the cheese and lightly press the edges of the dough to blend. Prick with a fork and place in a preheated oven at 180 ° C
- When the foccacia turns brown, remove from the oven and cover with a spirit cloth.
- Good apetite! : D
