Focaccia Pizza
Foccacio is a traditional Italian bread with the ingredients imprinted in it, and the pizza is ... you all know what a pizza is :) Anyway, I combined these two Italian delicacies with a bit of personal "touch" and got this ....
Preparation steps
- Dough preparation
- Put dry yeast, a teaspoon of flour and sugar and a little warm water or milk in a bowl and mix. Wait for the yeast to "work".
- Put all the other ingredients in a larger bowl including turmeric which will give the dough a golden yellow color. Add the "raised" yeast and replace the dough (as for bread). Put the dough in a warm place, cover it with a cloth and let it rise (about 30-40 min.)
- Prepare a baking tray and put baking paper over it. Grease the baking paper with butter. put the dough on a baking tray, grease it with olive oil so that it does not stick to your fingers and spread it over the entire baking tray (the thickness of the dough should be about 2 cm).
- Stuffing
- Coat the dough with the previously prepared tomato concentrate sauce and pasta sauce (I used Barilla tomato and onion sauce). Press the olives and sliced bacon into the dough over the entire surface.
- Add the onion chopped into small slices and spread the grated cheese (Gauda and Parmesan) over the entire surface. Finally sprinkle with a little oregano.
- Bake in the oven at 200 degrees for about 30 minutes.
