Fish sandwiches with tartar by Jamie Oliver
One of his recipes from 15 Minute Meals, the changes aren’t big. I don’t know which fish he used, you can actually use any white fish. Serve with pea puree, although in my opinion it is not even necessary if you are going to consume them in pastries.
Preparation steps
- Cut the catfish fillets so that you get 8 smaller pieces and arrange them on baking paper. Add salt, steam and sprinkle with sweet pepper. Roll in flour on all sides.
- Fry the fillets in hot oil (I used sunflower oil), 3-4 minutes on each side. When the fillets are near the end, sprinkle one side with parmesan and turn to brown the cheese on the bottom.
- Tartar: Mix yogurt, mayonnaise, cucumber, lemon juice and parsley.
Serving
At the bottom of the pastry (which you can heat if you want), put a spoonful of tartar, two pieces of fish, a salad leaf / pickles and, if desired, more tartar. Serve with lemon slices and pea puree.
