Fish and vegetable fritters
Today it was the turn of the fish. Since I only had two hake fillets in the chest, which is not enough for the four of us, I had to increase the amount of fish a little… so it turned out like this…
Preparation steps
- Finely grate the carrot, kohlrabi and red onion and add the crushed garlic.
- Chop the fish (I do it with my hands so that I don't miss a single stone) and add it to the vegetable mixture
- Add egg, parsley and season to taste, and add so many bread crumbs to get a uniform mass that is easy to work with.
- Make fritters of the desired size and roll them in bread crumbs.
- Fry them in hot oil until nicely browned on both sides, take out on a paper towel to drain off excess fat and serve.
Serving
I made salted potatoes with parsley and lettuce with the fritters, and I used lemon and the rest of the kohlrabi for decoration.
