Fig walnut cake!

Preparation steps

  • Biscuit: First melt the chocolate, let it cool a bit. Mix egg whites with a little sugar and salt. Then mix the egg yolks and other sugar, add the flour with the ground walnuts, mix in the egg whites. Divide into 3 parts, leave one part as such, add 1 tablespoon of melted chocolate to the second part, add the rest of the chocolate to the third part. Bake at 160C for about 25 minutes. In a cake tin 15cm. Cream: Butter should be at room temp. Mix mascarpone with powdered sugar, add butter and a little lemon juice and mix everything together into a cream. Coat the crust with cream and then coat the whole cake, put a little in the fridge. Then garnish with figs, walnuts and honey. Good apetite!!
  • I used a cake tin 15cm, maybe 20cm, but the cake will be a little lower .. You can make the cream as you wish, it is also a very nice combination, cream with orange or vanilla!
  • I found the recipe on a German website and changed the cream to my liking.
