Fasting rolls
Since the days of fasting, here is a recipe for fasting rolls that boast nothing if they are without milk and eggs. Try it
Preparation steps
- Leave the yeast with the sugar and a little water to rise
- When it has risen, pour in the already sifted flour.
- Add oil, salt and as much lukewarm water as needed to knead a medium dough.
- When you knead the dough well, let the fat run free and make the shapes you want. (I made small braids and knots today)
- Leave the rolls to mature for 10-15 minutes
- Before baking, put a little margarine on top of each roll
- Bake at 220`C
