Fasting Carrot Cake
Become a healthy cake without gluten and milk. Very tasty and very simple.
Preparation steps
- For the apple sauce, fry half an apple with the sugar and mix it. Prepare the oven at 180 C
- Put all dry ingredients (flour, baking soda, salt, baking powder and cinnamon) in the first bowl. Mix it all with a wire.
- In another bowl, mix all the wet ingredients (apple sauce, milk, vanilla extract, coconut oil and sugar). Also mix everything so that everything is liquid. (must not have lumps).
- When both mixtures are well connected, slowly add the dry mixture to the wet one. Stir to combine completely.
- Then add the carrots and walnuts and combine well.
- Line the cake tin with baking paper, put the mixture in it and put it in the oven at 170 C. The cake should be baked for 40 minutes.
- When we take the cake out of the oven and the mold, let it settle while we make the filling.

- Put powdered sugar, margarine and milk in a bowl. Combine everything with a mixer.
- Add vanilla extract, apple cider vinegar and juice of half a lemon. Mix it all up and the filling is done.
- Pour the filling over the cake and it is ready to eat.

* Ordinary cake flours can also be used for this cake, and plain milk and butter can be used for the non-lean version.
