Fake burek
This is definitely one of my favorite dishes. I often make it when there is nothing edible at home.
Preparation steps
- In a deep bowl, beat the eggs with a fork and add the yoghurt (cream) and mix. Add half the milk and salt.
- Add the pasta (dry, not cooked) and add the rest of the milk (to cover all the pasta). Mix everything well.
- Leave for 1 hour with occasional stirring.
- Oil a deep baking tray and pour the rest of the oil into the mixture and mix well. Pour the mixture into a pan and place in the oven at 180 ° C for about 1 h. It is done when all the liquid is absorbed and the top layer turns yellow.
Serving
When you pour the mixture into the pan, if your dough is not completely covered with milk, you can add more milk and stir, unless you like to crunch. It takes more time to prepare, so I usually make it in the evening for the next day. If during baking you notice that the oil has risen to the surface, simply drain the excess, and return it to the oven. (just wait for it to be relatively firm, so that the dough doesn't go after the oil: D)
