Evin Kolac (Fini Kolac s Jabukama)

Rcp is from Jutarnji List some there in the 90's, and today it is made and photographed so you don't say how I put it in the archives :) No kidding, easy to make, we usually always have the ingredients at home, it's best with apples, although sometimes it can be other fruits: )

Preparation steps

  • Peel and slice 4-5 sour apples. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees C. Coat the mold with softened butter and sprinkle with bread crumbs (I used a 26cm tart mold, although I think 24cm is appropriate).
  • Arrange slices of peeled apples evenly on the mold (nicely in a circle). Sprinkle demerara sugar, grated zest and lemon juice over the apples.
  • Mix butter with sugar, add 2 whole lightly beaten eggs and sifted flour. Mix briefly to combine everything and spread the mixture over the apples.
  • Put in the oven for about 20 minutes. When baked, cool, sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve. It goes well with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, and maybe chocolate :)
