English Cheese Scones
Hmmmm these Cheese Scones are great for breakfast or when guests suddenly come! You can eat them with cream or with some cheese. They are easy to make and the taste is great!
Preparation steps
- (for 10 scones) Preheat oven to 220 degrees and place baking paper in one pan.
- Mix flour, paprika and salt in one bowl. Cut the butter and add it to the bowl. Mix this until it becomes a crumb-like dough. Then add the grated cheese.
- Add the milk and mix this with one blunt knife. Then shape the dough ball with your hand.
- Thin the dough so that it is about 3 cm. thickness. Then use a mold (diameter 5 cm) to remove the scones from the dough. Put them in a baking pan and coat them with milk and sprinkle some more grated cheese over the scones.
- Bake 10-15 min. Pleasant :)
Serving
These scones can be eaten with cream, and the English even eat them with jam! An unusual combination, but you might like it :)
