"Eid pie with meat"
This pie in a combination of homemade and ready-made crusts, with minced meat stuffing and egg stuffing was among other things in the menny for Eid: -)).
Preparation steps
- From the dough ingredients, knead a soft dough. Let the dough rest for at least 30 minutes.
- In the meantime, make the fillings:
- MINCED MEAT STUFFING:
- Sprinkle a little butter on the mixed meat. Add finely chopped onion, "Vegeta", salt and pepper to taste. Continue frying until the water evaporates. Cool slightly.
- Fill the finished crust with the obtained mixture.
- EGG STUFFING:
- Mix eggs, sweet cooking cream, milk, baking powder and salt. Beat with a fork to even the mixture.
- Fill the finished crust with the obtained mixture.
- PIE MAKING:
- Divide the dough into 16 balls and make two crusts (2X8) from the obtained balls according to the instructions as in the recipe for Spinach Pie.
- Place the first crust on a square pan pre-greased with butter. Raise the ends a little. Sprinkle the crust with melted butter.
- Lay the finished crust over the stretched homemade crust. Crumble the poppy seeds, sprinkle with melted butter and sprinkle with meat filling. Lay the second finished crust, sprinkle with egg filling and sprinkle with melted butter.
- So sprinkle with the other finished crusts. Finally, sprinkle with melted butter and meat filling.
- Finally, lay out the stretched homemade crust. Assemble the ends and carefully twist them.
- Spread the pie with melted butter and bake in a preheated oven at a temperature of 250 * C until the pie turns brown. Occasionally reduce the heat of the oven.
- Serve the almost baked pie with dzadzik or tarator.
