Eggs on the eye with sumac
I dedicate this recipe, if we can call it a recipe at all, to Christians, because it is the one that directed me to this wonderful spice. Recipe downloaded from Nigella's website.
Preparation steps
- Pour the oil into the pan and heat it to a medium temperature, carefully breaking the eggs so that the yolks remain whole. Fry the eggs by pouring hot oil over the egg whites and very little egg yolk, which must remain smooth and the egg white crispy. Before the end of frying, add salt and then put the sumac over (I didn't salt at all, I don't like much salt).
- Serve with fresh pie pie, which I bought. The bread pie was made of whole wheat grain and alapenjo paprika (I like hot), although it was not hot at all, and with those triangles of bread pie, "dive" into these tough egg yolks.
- Since sumac has a sour taste, make sure you distribute it evenly everywhere.
- Pleasant.
Serving
I served it with avocado and fried peppers. You can save this for dinner or breakfast, like me.
