Easter pretzels
These pretzels have been passed down from generation to generation in my family for years. They go very well with cooked ham and eggs. And for children, they are a nice gift with a colorful egg ....
Preparation steps
- Beat eggs with sugar, add baking powder, oil, carbonated mineral water, and add flour gradually. Spread the dough on a floured work surface and for about half an hour work the dough with constant addition of flour, until it stops sticking to your hands. Tear the dough to the desired size (approximately the size of a peach), shape it into balls be round). Cut the shaped peretak with scissors (but taking care not to cut the peretak to the end). Put the shaped peretak in boiling water, previously slightly salted. wait for them to cool. When they cool, place them in a tray spaced apart from each other (so that they do not touch because they grow during baking). Bake them until golden yellow at a temperature of about 200 c.
Serving
Serve with boiled ham and boiled eggs as desired and with spring onions.
