Dukan salty roll
here is another simple recipe for everything on the Dukan diet, without bran (which, I believe, you keep an eye on your head for your favorite dish), suitable for phase 2, PP day, and with a little imagination it can be made exactly to your liking with with a combination of foods that you like the most in both salty and sweet versions ... my non-ducans were delighted with this Sunday snack :)
Preparation steps
- Roll: Divide the egg yolks into separate bowls. In a bowl with the egg yolks, add a tablespoon of the stock, a pinch of salt and mix well to get a compact lump-free mixture. Put it down. In another bowl, mix the egg whites into the solid snow. Using a spoon, slowly add the snow to the egg yolks, working the first tablespoon of snow well in the egg yolks and lightly mixing the other tablespoons of egg whites so that the hardness of the snow is not lost and the egg yolk and egg white blend nicely into a compact mixture. Cover the baking tray with baking paper and place the prepared mixture on it. Arrange it on the tray as if you were doing a classic roll (you will not get the amount to fill the tray from edge to edge, but try to make your finger a thick square roll). Place in a preheated oven at 160 degrees and bake for 10-12 minutes.
- Take the baked roll out of the oven and remove it from the baking tray to the work surface together with the baking paper. Spread the cheese from edge to edge of the roll and arrange the other ingredients on it, season and roll. Baking paper will help you roll. Be gentle because the roll is brittle. :) Cut into pieces and look at the cross section .. njami ... :)
- If you have not found canned fish in brine but it is in vegetable oil, put the contents of the can in a strainer and rinse the excess oil under running water. You may need salt after rinsing, so try the fish before deploying. (The one in the brine is already salty enough on its own).
Serving
As you can see I literally overcame this roll of mine so it cracked the biscuit a bit but it was great no matter what. You, of course, adjust the amount and type of stuffing to your liking. The recipe is originally made with smoked salmon, fine .. You can also fill it with freshly baked fish, Dukan friendly turkey / chicken salami, you can also add vegetables if you have a PV day. In fact, play with the stuffing, there are a lot of combinations .. :)
