Drunk oyster mushrooms

It is a very common fungus. It grows bushy, in nature on stumps (usually beech and wild chestnut) and live deciduous trees, in late autumn and winter, ie from August to November. It is successfully grown on straw

Preparation steps

  • Cut oyster mushrooms into smaller pieces. Fry finely chopped onion in oil and add oyster mushrooms, garlic, add a little salt and pour white wine. In a covered bowl, sauté the oyster mushrooms until they soften. If necessary, add a little more wine or lukewarm water. When the liquid from the oyster mushroom boils, simmer for another 30 minutes. When the oyster mushrooms are soft, mix in the mustard, add the spices as desired and stir a little more to get a nice density of the sauce. Sprinkle with chopped parsley leaves before serving.
