Drops of propolis

I don't have to tell you that propolis is healthy. And why everything? ... from inflammation, through colds, immunity, to fat removal mas. a lot of things fit between what I have just stated :)) And although "home-made" products are sold in markets and pharmacies, I like to make it myself najviše and it's so easy :))

Preparation steps

  • Propolis is a resin with which bees coat their hives, frames, in a word, it is used for sealing by bees :) As such, you cannot grind it or chop it in any other way.
  • That is why the required amount of propolis freezes and the frozen one slowly beats as finely as possible.
  • Pour the beaten propolis into a glass bottle or jar, pour alcohol and close.
  • Do not touch it for the first two or three days, and later shake it slowly several times a day (not so hard that the alcohol does not foam) until all the propolis has melted.
  • The length of this dissolution will depend on how finely you beat the propolis.
  • Since my uncle no longer keeps bees, I now buy it partially crushed (like the one in the picture), but I still repeat the whole chopping procedure because the smaller ones melt more easily.
  • It is sold in the markets in 90% alcohol solution, because it dissolves faster, but the weaker the alcohol, the better it is for drops, regardless of the fact that mine will dissolve for two or three days longer :))
  • Further use (dissolved in liquid or dripped on honey or sugar) as well as the amount will depend on the instructions for the given condition :))

Serving

I make it at least in double measure, because it does not lose its properties when standing.
