Doris Grant bread
Bread that doesn't mix and is very easy to prepare ... Try it, it's too good while it's warm. I haven't tried to try it cold yet, although I've made it many times
Preparation steps
- Sift the wholemeal flour and leave the coarse residue from the sieve
- Add white flour, salt and yeast, and mix all dry ingredients
- Make a hole in the middle of the flour mixture and add water and honey to it. Lightly knead all the ingredients by hand into a unique sticky mixture.
- Line an oven tray with baking paper. Flour the work surface a little, then shake out the dough and make a ball out of it. Place it on a prepared baking sheet. Cut the bread in several places with a sharp knife. Cover with cling film that has been pre-coated on the side that goes the way of the dough. Leave for 1/2 hour to rise in a warm place.
- When the bread has risen, remove the transparent foil. Coat the upper surface with milk and sprinkle with the remains of sowing wholemeal flour.
- Bake in an oven preheated to 200 degrees for 30-40 minutes. At the bottom of the oven when baking, put another tray in which you will put 10-15 ice cubes. They will create steam and allow the bread to rise before the crust is baked
