Domino cubes :)
Gingerbreads enriched with marzipan, jam and chocolate .. a little more work but the taste is special;)
Preparation steps
- For the dough, melt the honey, sugar and vanilla sugar over low heat and leave to cool.
- Stir egg spices and almonds into the mixture. Sift flour and baking powder / ginger yeast and mix 2/3 of the mixture.
- Pour the rest of the flour onto the work surface and knead the dough; be quite sticky.
- Cut out paper 20x30 cm and roll out the dough with a rolling pin to this dimension. Sprinkle lightly with flour to keep it from sticking.
- Bake at 180 ° C for about 20 minutes. Cut the cooled dough in half and coat both halves with jam / marmalade.
- Knead the marzipan with the sugar and roll it out 20x30 cm and place it on the lower part of the dough. Cover with the top half and place in the cold.
- Melt the chocolate and vegetable fat in a steamer, cool.
- Cut the plate into rectangles approx. 1.5x2 cm and chocolate with the prepared topping. Garnish with chilled white chocolate dots.
