Decorative cake
Do you want to leave an "artistic" impression on your dear guests? This is the right opportunity to show off. You don’t need great skill or extreme experience at all. A little good will and the result will be remembered… And if you like spectacles? Well, that a little later…
Preparation steps
- Knead the dough of medium hardness, gradually add the liquid until you get the desired firmness. Leave to rise for a while and mix again.
- Set aside a third of the dough for decoration. Procedure
- Using a cookie cutter, make sheets to get half a sheet that does not have to be the correct shape because you will cover it with another sheet. Sprinkle the work surface with flour always.
- From the rest of the dough, knead a round cake (the size of a cake). Spread water around it and arrange the leaves as in the picture. Put the flowers and roses in the middle. Sprinkle them with flour especially well before twisting so that they do not stick.
- Leave to rise well and spread with egg. Procedure If you want to add a little more art and maybe enhance the effect, make a crown like this. From one and 1/2 salt of flour with the addition of 1 teaspoon of salt, knead a good hard dough. Cut a few strips as in the picture and grease a ball-shaped dish with oil, coat with egg and bake the crown for about half an hour at 180 degrees until slightly browned. Section This cake is great for all holidays, weddings…
Serving
And if you like spectacles before taking the cake out on the table, take out one rose carefully and put in that place either a small pepper or a hollowed-out firm small tomato in which you pour a little strong drink, alcohol and light it… (but without firefighters please :)) practice the technique! :)))
