Dalmatian puree… ..
Dalmatino, our singer in his prime, is a big fan of gourmet variations on the theme - dandelion. In one comment on the subject he mentioned mashed potatoes with dandelion flowers and the challenge and curiosity did their thing so I have already made this simple and unusual delicacy twice. And now, with his blessing, there is a recipe, dedicated to the beautiful yellow flowers of dandelion and of course - Dalmatian. Head to a meadow, pick dandelion flowers and try ……….
Preparation steps
- Peel a squash, grate it and slice it
- Pick fresh dandelion flowers and tear off their stalks
- Put potatoes and dandelion flowers in cold water, add and a little salt and cook until the potatoes are soft
- Drain, add butter and milk (as needed) and puree well.
