Daddy's cakes
This is how I make Zerbo, it's not to be called that. You tell me if it's it or not.
Preparation steps
- Rub the flour well with the margarine.
- Add the other ingredients and make everything well on the board.
- When the dough rests a bit, divide it into 4 parts.
- Mix sugar and walnuts and divide into 3 parts.
- Pour the tin, develop the first crust, put it in the tin, coat with a thin layer of marmalade as desired (I use only homemade apricot jam).
- Put the first part of the walnut over the coated shell.
- Repeat this two more times and finally cover the dough with the fourth crust.
- Bake for about 30 minutes at 200 degrees.
- When cool, coat it with icing.
- Put all the ingredients needed for the glaze in the sieve, then cook until the mass becomes thick like honey.
- With a knife, while still hot, spread it evenly over the cake.
- When everything has cooled and tightened, cut the cabbage clouds and serve.
