Cyclamen, instructions for decorating in two versions.
Decorating instructions.
Preparation steps
- Instructions for making cyclamen are here. The difference is that this time I made the leaves pale green and brushed the whites on the parts that I don't want to be colored. When the leaves had dried, I then painted them green with powder paint, exposed them to water vapor and glazed them with edible glaze. In this way, more realistic sheets are obtained. Version 1: Coat the cake (pictured with carrot cake) with marzipan. Crumple the aluminum foil, cover with brown fondant and stick cyclamen in it. Mix various shades of green so that they do not soy completely, roll them out and wrap the cake. Knead the rest of the mixture until the paint melts completely, then cut the leaves and stick them. Version 2: Coat the cake with marzipan, and coat the top surface with fondant and smooth well, also cover the cardboard under the cake with light brown fondant. For the part on the side, roll out the brown fondant (if you have the options SatinIce brown with the taste of chocolate smells like chocolate, not at all disgusting smelling like the Wiltons) press the sare wood on it and wrap it around. Shape the mushrooms and stick them with egg white. Shade the bark of the tree and mushrooms with brown powder. While the top surface is still soft, you can lightly imprint the drawing to be painted. Once the top surface is dry, you can start painting on the cake, detailed instructions are here. For the part around the cake, prepare fondant in various shades of green, brown-green and light green, roll out thinly and cut into strips. Prepare balls of fondant in which you will stick cyclamen, stick with egg white and then spread the prepared strips over everything. Stick a green satin ribbon around the base, and finally stick cyclamen.
