Cuttlefish from the oven
Cuttlefish is most often eaten as an appetizer - cuttlefish salad, or cuttlefish and octopus salad. This is a recipe for cuttlefish from the oven. I think the cuttlefish, prepared this way, is much tastier. Soft, sweet to both children and adults, with the inevitable indulgence in soaking bread in a baking pan.
Preparation steps
- Catch, or buy one fresh cuttlefish.
- Clean cuttlefish (can be found on youtube)
- Cut the cuttlefish into strips.
- Prepare vegetables: cut 2-3 potatoes, 1 zucchini, 1 shallot (goat onion), grate 1 carrot, clean 2-3 taps of garlic (when the dish is cooked, the onion can be removed).
- Mix cuttlefish and vegetables. Add salt (or add 1 tablespoon Vegeta), stir. Put everything in a pan, pour 1 dl of white wine. Drizzle with olive oil.
- Season with two pinches of oregano and a little more (dried) parsley. Cover the pan with aluminum foil.
- Preheat oven (~ 200 °). Bake, until potatoes are baked. Towards the end of baking, remove the foil.
Serving
Serve immediately after removing from the oven.
