Creamy scrambled eggs with smoked salmon and croissant [Gordon Ramsay recipe]
According to the recipe of the British chef Gordon Ramsay, this is his favorite recipe for Christmas breakfast, but you can serve it any day of the year, for breakfast, lunch or an appetizer for dinner :)
Preparation steps
- Cut the croissant into two pieces and place under the grill to brown a little, you can put it on a toaster or fry in a pan [without oil], just enough to get a golden color. Then place on serving plates.
- In a pan, place the eggs together with the butter and mix slowly with the cooker over medium heat. By no means do you beat the eggs before you put them in the pan, because you will not get a creamy mixture, which is the main purpose of this recipe.
- Mix the eggs with the butter non-stop for about 2 minutes or until you get a creamy mixture, remove from the heat and add the cream. Continue to stir for a few more seconds to obtain a smooth mixture. Do not return to fire. Finally, add salt, pepper and chives.
Serving
Serve on a warm croissant by placing the sliced salmon first, then the egg.
