Cream bags
A recipe that could be compared to cream cheese but again it is different and more special. Classic cooked cream with egg yolks, whipped cream and density combined with fine crispy puff pastry cut into cubes and filled with this fine cream. It's hard to describe the scourge of the family when they started eating these fine bags :)
Preparation steps
- Roll out the puff pastry and cut into squares of approximately 6-7 cm or as desired. Bake and when it cools, cut each square in half.
- Mix the milk with the whipping cream. Mix the egg yolks with half the sugar. Boil half the milk and half the sugar. Mix the other half of the milk with the egg yolks, starch flour. Add to boiled milk and cook as a pudding.
- Add softened and mixed butter or margarine to the cooled cream. Fill the bags with a syringe or simply put a cream on each half with a spoon.
