Crackers with carob
Since there is no recipe for crackers like this here yet, I am posting it at the request of a cool friend.
Preparation steps
- Whisk the sugar and vanilla sugar with the margarine. Add the egg and stir more. Then add the jam.
- Finally add flour, baking powder, carob and cinnamon. Knead the dough, wrap in cling film and put in the fridge for a couple of hours, or briefly in the freezer.
- Tear off pieces of dough and shape into walnut-sized balls. Roll them first in crystal sugar, then in powdered sugar. Arrange the balls in a tin on baking paper. Leave a space between the balls as they will spread.
- Bake in a preheated oven for about 20 minutes at a temperature of 175 °. Leave a little more in the tin.
- Invite friends over for coffee and these fragrant and delicious cookies.
