Corn cones

This recipe was given to me by my mother a long time ago, she found it in some newspapers and tried these croissants, they are just fine.

Preparation steps

  • Bring the water to a boil, then pour it over the cornflour to make it hot. Mix well with a food processor to combine well and let it cool down a bit. Melt the yeast with a teaspoon of sugar in warm milk, then let it rise (5-10 min). Add wheat flour and salt, oil and yeast to the corn flour, then knead the dough with mixer spirals. When it becomes compact with a light sprinkling of flour, knead a soft leavened dough. Cover it with cling film and let it double in volume. Divide the dough into 8 parts and roll each into a round grinder which should then be cut into eight triangles. Fill with the desired filling and fold it in the shape of a croissant. fillers with cow's cheese (salty variant, and fillings you like can be added.)
