Cod on goulash with chickpeas

The old recipe in a new way, cod with chickpeas, which is characterized by a much lower glycemic index than boiled potatoes, is there for a fit line and good health.

Preparation steps

  • Saute finely chopped onion and garlic in warmed olive oil, stirring and drizzling with 50 ml of fish stock until the onion softens.
  • Add chopped carrots, cooked dried cod garnished in smaller pieces and chickpeas and pour chopped tomato over everything. Stir, cover with white wine and fish stock, add tomato and caper concentrate if desired and season everything - salt, pepper, oregano, rosemary / bay leaf, chopped parsley.
  • With occasional stirring, cook over low heat for 15-20 minutes until the wine evaporates and the carrots soften.

Serving

Sprinkle the cod stew with chickpeas with freshly chopped parsley and serve with grated parmesan, lettuce and a glass of good white wine.
