Cod "moussaka"
Cod in an unusual way that is a bit reminiscent of moussaka with meat. Simple and delicious!
Preparation steps
- Let the frozen cod thaw. Cut it into smaller pieces and fry in olive oil. Add pepper, salt, optionally a mixture of spices. Add a little more freshly chopped parsley and 2-3 cloves of garlic. Then pour in the peeled tomatoes or cooking cream (depending on whether you want a white or red combination; the peeled tomatoes were used in the recipe) and let it boil.
- Peel a squash, grate it and squeeze the juice. put it in hot water and boil (blanch) for a few minutes to relax. Arrange a row of potatoes in a baking dish and place half of the cod sauce on it. Sprinkle with grated cheese. Then again a row of potatoes, cod sauce and cheese. Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes at 180-200 degrees.
