Coconut wreaths

Preparation steps
- Inadeep bowl, mix the flour, corn starch and baking powder. Add vanilla sugar, lemon zest, softened butter, eggs, sugar and cream.
- Knead a crispy dough and let it stand in a cool place for about an hour.
- Mix water with sugar and honey. Add the grated ginger and cook together over low heat for 10-15 minutes and cool.
- Knead the prepared dough, and then form rolls about 10 cm long. Shape the rolls into braids and then into wreaths.
- Place the wreaths on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake for 15-20 minutes at 180-200 ° C.
- Dip one side of the baked wreaths into the prepared syrup and roll the same side in coconut flour.
