Coconut strudel

For the main photo I chose this one with the little arms of my cute assistant. He is the main one to try: * We present you one great recipe for coconut strudel. The recipe is from a small magazine for strudels and strudels. Coconut lovers will be delighted ... at least I am :) It is a strudel made of crispy dough with a coconut filling, sweet sour cream and cranberries.

Preparation steps

  • Knead the dough from the listed ingredients (if necessary, add more sour cream) and leave it to stand for 30 minutes in a cool place.
  • To fi: beat the egg whites firmly, gradually adding sugar to get a shiny and thick mass. Stir in coconut, cranberries and sweet sour cream.
  • Thin the dough to a thickness of 2-3 mm, then divide into two rectangles.
  • Put fillets along one edge of each rectangle, and then roll them.
  • Put them on a baking sheet, coat with egg yolk and bake in a preheated oven at 200 * C until they get a golden yellow color.
  • Before baking, prick the strudels with a fork (me and my assistant forgot about that part). I also had to leave it for another 5-6 minutes longer to bake.
