Preparation steps

  • Preparation of rolls:
  • Turn the oven to 200C and let it heat up. Line the oven tray with baking paper.
  • Separate the egg yolks from the egg whites. Mix the egg yolks with the sugars until they turn white, then add flour and baking powder, mix briefly. Mix the egg whites separately into the solid snow, then mix them into the egg yolk mixture with a spatula in light circular motions.
  • Pour the mixture into a baking pan, flatten it slightly and put it in the oven to bake for about 12 minutes, it is best to check with a toothpick after 12 minutes, if it comes out dry it is ready.
  • Moisten a large cloth with cold water, place it on the table, separate the roll from greaseproof paper, transfer it to a wet cloth, roll it up and leave the roll to cool in the cloth.
  • Preparation of cream:
  • Mix all ingredients together.
  • Spread the roulade, top with cream, roll again.
  • Garnish with whipped cream and coconut if desired. Cool and serve.
