Coconut and white chocolate baklava

Minja's way of making it, my recipe invention!

Preparation steps

  • Mix oil and mineral water.
  • Mix coconut, sugar, semolina and white chocolate.
  • Spread one crust, sprinkle with oil mixture and min. water and fold with another crust. Spray, put the needle at the very end. Roll the crust over the needle, put 4 spoons of the filling, arrange it well and twist it like a roll with a needle. Slowly remove the needle.
  • Repeat the process with the other crusts.
  • When the baklava is done, sprinkle with the rest of the oil and min. water and bake until it gets a golden yellow color.Leave to cool.
  • Cook the sherbet, add the vanilla and slices of half a lemon and leave to cool completely.
  • When the baklava is completely cooled, pour in the sherbet and let it soak.

Serving

I like when the baklava is crispy and that is why I pour cold baklava with cold sherbet. This baklava is pure my experiment, and I have to say it was a success! If you love sweeter baklava, you can add more sugar to the sherbet.
