Coca cola chicken wings

I have to admit I was pretty skeptical when I first came across this recipe wandering the internet, but I was also very intrigued by the word ‘Coca cola’ in the title. Since I’m a big fan of Coca Cola, and fizzy drinks in general (which I will, I can’t help myself, it’s my vice), I decided to try this dish and to everyone’s delight I really enjoyed these delicious snacks.

Preparation steps

  • Rub a little salt and pepper on the chicken wings. Make a marinade of soy sauce, worchester sauce and sesame oil, add the chicken wings, add the spice mixture, mix everything well and marinate for about 20 minutes.
  • Heat the sunflower oil in a pan and fry the wings for a few minutes on each side until they get a brownish color and a nice crust. Then add the coke, water and the rest of the marinade.
  • Cook covered over a moderate heat until the sauce is reduced and becomes sticky like syrup, some 20-30 minutes. The sauce will cling to the meat and you will get delicious wings with a sticky glaze. Turn the wings occasionally during cooking.

Serving

Snack on the wings as a delicious snack or serve with rice and salad and have a complete meal. Lick your fingers!

Grandma and I made it, be nice, but grandpa's hand is grandpa's hand! :)) Namely, as a child, this was my favorite grandfather's dish, I could go home from school from the first shift, frozen and hungry like a wolf, thinking how great it would be if my grandfather now baked his chicken with dough! And when I walked into the entrance of the building, the smell of roast chicken would spread all over the stairs, alas, then there was no happier child than me! :)))
