Clover pastry
They look very decorative, very easy to make, soft, fragrant and delicious pastries.
Preparation steps
- Mix yeast with warm milk, a little flour and leave to rise. Put salt in the flour, add eggs, stir. Add yeast with milk, oil, sour cream and knead a soft dough. Leave to rest for about half an hour. Spread on a table thinly about 5 mm .Find a cup the size of a kulen roll and take out the circles.
- Take 1 roll of dough, put kulen on it and cover with another roll of dough.
- Cut the dough with a knife as the clock 12,6,3,9 and 1,5,7,11 look like. not all the way to the middle leave a free circle in the middle as in the picture.
- Twist each end, one to the left, the other to the right * towards each other.
- It is best to wrap the pastries in the tray in which you bake them. Place the baking paper in the tray. Arrange the pastries. When you wrap them, coat them with beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds, cumin if desired. Bake in a preheated oven at 220 degrees for about 10 minutes until golden brown.
