Classic German cheesecake
In the sea of cheesecakes, here is a classic recipe from Germany, given to me by a wonderful friend from Freiburg. Thanks to her, and I hope you like it too :))
Preparation steps
- Dough Separate the yolks from the egg whites. Leave the yolks aside, we will need them to coat the cake. Make a loose dough from egg whites and other ingredients. Coat the round cake tin with a little butter and spread the dough, raising the ends a little (as in the picture).
- Preheat oven to 180 C.
- Whisk the melted butter, pudding powder, egg flour and sugar nicely. Add cheese and milk. Fill the dough.
- Coat with the egg yolk that we left aside. Bake on the lower "shelf" for about 60-70 min.
- Open the oven door and leave to cool.
