Preparation steps

  • 1/2 cup milk, 1/3 cup melted butter, 1/4 cup sugar, 1 egg, a pinch of salt whisk well. Add 1/5 cup flour and mix well again. Then add 100 ml of warm water into which you poured a bag of dry yeast and leave it to stand for a while. Pour another cup of flour and mix well. Shake the dough on a surface sprinkled with flour and knead for a few minutes.
  • Slightly roll the dough into a rectangle on a surface sprinkled with flour. Coat with melted butter, sprinkle with brown sugar, hazelnuts and cinnamon. Wrap lightly in a roll.
  • Cut pieces 5-6 cm long. Turn them over and place in a pan. Press each lightly from above. Cover again and leave to stand for another 30 minutes. Bake in a preheated oven. Half a cup of milk, grated orange peel, vanilla extract and a cup of sugar in combine the powder well and pour over each piece when you take it out of the oven.
