Chunky buns

Well, they turned out to be kind of chubby, but they are soft, fragrant and irresistible.

Preparation steps

  • Mix flour with yeast, baking powder, sugar, with very little salt. Heat the milk with the butter a little to make it lukewarm, then add it like all the other ingredients and knead into a fine, smooth dough. Leave for about 25 minutes to rise.
  • Now divide the dough into 2 equal parts, develop a little flour into a slightly larger circle, cut radially into triangles and bend the rolls from the wider part towards the take.
  • Place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Leave them to rest for another 20 minutes or so. Now coat each roll with a mixture of egg yolks and milk and bake for 25 minutes at 180 degrees. If desired, you can fill the rolls with jam or cream. If you prefer the salty version, omit the sugar, add 1 teaspoon of salt and fill with cheese.
