Chocolate murder
It took me a long time to decide which recipe will be the first, so the decision fell on my favorite food - chocolate… There are similar versions of this cake and this one is my and my family's favorite…
Preparation steps
- Place the biscuits in a 24 cm diameter cake tin, soak them in milk mixed with instant coffee and rum. When they soften, mash them with your fingers to fill in any holes left after stacking.
- Bring the whipping cream to a boil and add the crushed chocolate, cocoa, pudding and sugar to the boiling water. Stir over low heat until mixture is smooth and thick. Pour the hot cream over the prepared biscuit base and sprinkle with almond flakes.
- Refrigerate for about 2 hours before serving, and it is advisable to prepare the cake the day before.
