Preparation steps

  • Whisk the eggs with the sugar. When the mixture doubles, add oil, milk and chocolate onion. Mix the dry ingredients flour, cocoa, a pinch of salt and baking powder together, sift and add to the wet ingredients. Mix everything together into a smooth mixture. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 ° for 5 minutes then reduce the temperature to 150 ° and bake for another 30 to 40 minutes depending on the strength of your oven. Check with a wooden stick whether it is baked. Leave in the mold to cool.
  • When the kuglof has cooled, pour the chocolate topping over it. For the topping, make a ganash of 1 dl of whipping cream and 100 g of chocolate. Sprinkle with chocolate crumbs and leave to cool.
