Chickpea Croquettes
Chickpeas are always a good inspiration for new experiments :)
Preparation steps
- Wash the chickpeas and leave in the water overnight. The next day cook, drain. While hot, mash them into a puree.
- Cook carrots and broccoli, then mash with a fork.
- Fry the onion in oil until it becomes glassy, then add the champignons and simmer until the liquid released by the champignons evaporates.
- Mix chickpeas, carrots, broccoli, mushrooms and onions, spices, sesame seeds, egg. Add salt and pepper to taste. Add flour. If the mixture does not form best, add more flour.
- Make oblong croquettes or balls from the mixture. Roll each in flour and fry in oil until golden brown.
- Pleasant!
Serving
Serve with sweet and sour sauce or cream or as desired.
