Chicken liver toast
Or a quick lunch.
Preparation steps
- Wash the chicken liver and clean it of veins.
- Fry the chopped bacon in a little olive oil. Add the onion and fry it until it becomes glassy, then the liver and garlic and simmer, stirring occasionally, for about 10 minutes. Season with chicken cubes, add white wine, after 5 minutes check the taste and remove from the heat
- Toast slices of homemade bread, and when they cool, apply a layer of Greek yogurt or sour cream and over that the cooled liver.
