Chicken in besamel
Lacking the idea of what to prepare for lunch, it occurred to me to combine a bit and I have to admit that I was surprised by the taste of this dish….
Preparation steps
- Cut the chicken into steaks and beat a little with a meat pestle, add salt, season and pepper a little, then fry in oil until golden on both sides.
- Prepare bechamel sauce: pour oil into a bowl, heat, then add flour to the heated oil, fry briefly until the flour turns yellow, add a little salt to the milk and mix well so that there are no lumps. Cook to boiling point, stirring constantly. When it is ready to remove from the heat and add sour cream, mix well.
- Pour the bechamel sauce prepared in this way over the chicken, sprinkle generously with bread crumbs and bake in the oven at 200C for some 15-20 minutes.
Serving
Baked bread crumbs give a special touch to this dish. I served it with dry rice and salad, the only thing is that I didn't manage to paint the portion because half of it disappeared while I was tidying up my little girl :)
