Chicken breast in sauerkraut

It's winter, and I'm the proud owner of a tub of cabbage that my mother-in-law helped pickle. I love it so much that I could eat it every day, be it lunch or a salad. I came up with something and it turned out well.

Preparation steps

  • Season the meat with salt and pepper
  • Cut the potatoes into slices, peel, add and stir
  • Cut the bacon into thin slices
  • Put cabbage leaves on the bottom of the bowl and place the meat and potatoes on top
  • Put slices of bacon, sprinkle with a little red pepper
  • Put the cabbage leaves on top again and bake at 200 C for about 1 hour

Serving

The upper leaves of the cabbage will darken a bit, so if you want you can bake under the foil. Serve with this sauerkraut salad, so when it's a ball, it's a cabbage-ball :-)))
