Cheese and semolina dumplings
I know there are a lot of them, but the excess does not hurt the head ..
Preparation steps
- mix cheese and eggs
- then add flour
- then mix well again
- add semolina and finally melted butter with a little salt
- let the mixture stand for a few hours (they are better for me if they stand overnight)
- form small balls and put them to boil in salted water
- cook until the balls double in volume (approx. 20 - 25 min)
- serve with sugar, toasted bread crumbs or jam…
Serving
I always make more of them so I freeze them and take them out when I need them!
